A big congratulations goes out to our Cross-Country team for an incredible showing at the Grouse Nest race yesterday.  We had 28 Woodhaven runners who placed in a top 10 spot in their age groups, earning us 163 points and placing us in the lead in the division as we start off the X-country season. Congrats to our 9 medalists:

Tyson S, Judah L and Jayce B each received a gold medal for their 1st place finishes.

Ella K, Luke B, Ty K, Mac L and Vivienne W secured a silver medal and Brady W brought home a bronze!

And a shout out to our 4th place finishers: Taryn B, Asher J, Liam B, Olivia L and Layla S.

Way to go to all the runners for a great first race!

Our school Terry Fox Run is happening on Friday September 23rd. The goal of the event is to raise awareness and some funds for cancer research. All students are highly encouraged to bring in a “Toonie for Terry” ...or you can also donate online. There are donation options on your PowerSchool account. 

Attention Charlie and the Chocolate Factory cast members! There is a meeting during the 2nd half of lunch today in the Drama Room. 

We drew for the next set of Saints tickets and the lucky winner is Leah M in Grade 5A for the Friday, Sept. 23rd Game - come on down to the office to get your tickets!
