The following options courses are available to students in Grade 7 during Term 3 of the 2023-2024 school year. Read through the course descriptions, then use the Grade 7 Option Registration Form to choose the courses you'd like to register for.
Foods (Schaber)
Students will learn the necessary techniques needed to be a junior cooking expert! This challenge will allow them to explore their inner foodies as they create delicious snacks and desserts. Students will be introduced to a wide variety of ingredients to enhance their palettes.

IA (Huedepohl)
Students will build a birdhouse and other projects to be determined. Various skills will be learned to complete these projects.

Hockey Performance (Bock)
Students will get their sweat on through a combination of dryland fitness, individual and team skill training drills, as well as by playing floor hockey games. Equipment such as skates and helmets may be required if ice is accessible. Hockey experience would be helpful.

Unleash Your Inner Strategist (Pol)
Students participating in this option will be participating in a variety of board games, card games, dodgeball, STEM challenges, and digital escape rooms to learn different strategies in order to improve their chances of winning a do their best. Get ready to learn some new games and build your own!

Drama (Refugia)
This is a hands-on course where students will participate in various performance activities including games, scripted work and exercises.

Taste for Travel (Davis)
In this option, you will explore countries around the world and discover the unique foods, famous sights and experiences that make them great travel destinations. So get your taste buds ready to sample unique foods from countries like Germany, Japan, Ukraine, Jamaica, India and Mexico. You will be your own travel agent and learn to plan and budget a dream trip of your choice.
