Today is International Women's Day! is a global holiday celebrated annually on March 8 as a focal point in the women's rights movement, bringing attention to issues such as gender equality, and violence and abuse against women. Celebrate women's achievement. Raise awareness about discrimination. Take action. Imagine a gender equal world. A world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.
Remember tomorrow is the “A Cup of Love” fundraiser. Bring $2 for a cup of hot chocolate to support an orphanage in the Ukraine.
Wahoo! It’s Ski Club day. Don’t forget to bring all of your equipment to The Foods Lab ASAP after school so we can leave by 3:15 this afternoon.
Congratulations to our senior basketball teams for both winning their quarterfinals games last night. Senior boys defeated Meridian and the Senior girls defeated Broxton Park. Now both teams move on to the semifinals on Thursday. Those games are being held at Woodhaven on Thursday…let’s get a big crowd to come and cheer on the Wolfpack!
