We hope you had a great Halloween weekend! Please remember there is no sharing of treats and please throw out any wrappers from those treats. 

Fall Ball - Fall ball starts on Wednesday after school. All grade 5, 6, and 7 are invited to play. Please make sure you sign-up by Wednesday. 

All FOODS 7 students will need to bring a pen or pencil to class in block 5 today, please. 

Indoor Shoes! As the cold weather is getting closer we would like to remind all students they should have a clean indoor pair of shoes...especially for PE class! We have noticed more and more dirt on the gym floors and we all must do our part to help keep it clean! 

This Friday we will be honouring all veterans at our Remembrance Day ceremony.   Once again, this year's event will be virtual.   In addition to video presentations will be joined by a Canadian Military veteran.  Beginning tomorrow, we will be distributing poppies to all classes.   I ask that you wear and treat these poppies with respect.   If you would like to support the Canadian Legion and the work that veterans do, you may contribute your toonies and loonies in the office.     

We will be closing the Woodhaven safe care and respect survey this Wednesday for students and staff.  Your opinion matters.  This is your chance to be heard.   Please have it completed before then. As of 8:00 am this morning there were 230 responses.  Which is good, however we have 430 students.  Right now, the grade 8’s are leading, consisting of  31% of all respondents, the grade fives well, we have some work to do.    

Movember is here! It is time to grow that Mustache...if you can! In Movember, also known as No Shave November, or Movember Madness, men everywhere in the world are growing out their mustaches and facial hair in order to bring awareness and raise funds for men’s health issues. We are supporting the cause at Woodhaven as well. Look forward to hearing about different Movember events throughout the month. To start each day we will bring you a Movember fact of the day…..

today’s is: There are between 10,000 and 20,000 hairs on a man’s face and the average moustache has 600. Mr. Bradshaw’s moustache, when grown out, must have at least 900 hairs!
