A reminder to all students to please be careful when entering and exiting the building and school property. Before and after school there is A LOT of traffic between our school and Greystone, so it is incredibly important that you are checking for cars, cyclists and other pedestrians before crossing the road. - ESPECIALLY at the crosswalk without lights by parking lot exit. We all need to do our part to make sure we are safe as we make our way to and from school.
Have you heard of a GSA? It stands for Gender and Sexuality Alliance. This is a club that our school offers, and is open to any students in grade 5-9 to join. We will be meeting every Wednesday during the first half/recess portion of lunch in Mrs. Glegloff’s room (149). This club offers a safe, welcoming and accepting space for all youth, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. Come join us on Wednesday in Mrs. Glegloff’s room during the first half of lunch!
Attention all students in grades 7-9 looking to be a part of this year’s musical “The LIttle Mermaid Jr!” There is a VERY IMPORTANT audition meeting happening TODAY during the 1st half of lunch in Mrs Refugia’s classroom - that;s room 143!!! Come get your audition package because auditions are NEXT WEEK! If you are unable to make the meeting, please see Refugia in her classroom during morning break today.
Senior boys and girls volleyball teams have a practice today after school from 3:15-4:30pm.
The next Junior A volleyball practice/tryout is tomorrow after school for both the junior A boys and junior A girls. For the junior A boys tryout, we need more players….so if you are a student in grades 5 to 8 and interested in playing some volleyball, please come on out…tomorrow 3:15-4:30pm…..yes you heard that correct, we are opening the junior A boys up tryouts to include any grade 5’s as we are currently short some players.
Wolfpack Week continues with TRIVIA TUESDAY! At 3 points
During the day, you will hear a trivia theme song play and that is your cue that the trivia round is set to begin! A Google form will be sent to staff members, and questions are to be answered AS A CLASS One entry per class, submitted by whichever teacher you have at the time!
And tomorrow is our first WOLFPACK WEDNESDAY of the year! Wear your pack colours, or your wolfpack gear and show off that pack pride! Speaking of pack colours, Wolfpack shirts will be delivered later today to students who have ordered and paid for their shirts. If you ordered a shirt, but it has not been paid for - you can get your shirt from Mrs G in the office once the payment is made.
