Unplanned Fire Drill at Woodhaven

Friday , September 5, 2025 - We just wanted to provide an update that led to a disruption this afternoon at Woodhaven Middle School. Spruce Grove Fire Services was dispatched to the school in response to a fire alarm at approximately 1:30pm on Friday afternoon. 

Fire protocols were enacted immediately and effectively to ensure the safety of all of our staff and students. Students left the building and went to their designated meeting area. 
 
With the information that the fire alarm was pulled intentionally, the fire department was able to give the all-clear; students and staff were able to head back to their regular activities after a very brief disruption.

The day was able to resume as planned after about a 15 minute delay.
