Happy birthday Mrs Denet

Congratulations to our senior volleyball teams for being a part of history last night. Our senior boys and senior girls played the first ever games in our new gym! The senior boys even got the first win, defeating Muir Lake 2-0. The senior girls lost a close game to Graminia 2-1. 

Good luck to our junior A girls who play their first game of the season tonight vs Copperhaven. The game tonight is taking place right after school in the small gym. 

Our junior B volleyball teams are reminded they have practice today after school in the large gym...3:15-4:30pm. That’s both the junior B boys and junior B girls practicing tonight! 

Thursday Sept. 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.   Today we would ask that you take a second to consider:

How often do you drink water?  

When was the last time you worried about whether your water was clean or not?

Have you ever had to wonder?

1 in 5 reserves in our country do not have access to clean drinking water.

Please take a second, and remember, every child matters

Our school Terry Fox Run is happening on Friday Oct. 1st. This event will take place in each class's PE block on that day. The goal of the event is to raise awareness and some funds for cancer research. All students are highly encouraged to bring in a “Toonie for Terry” ...or you can also donate online. There are donation options on your PowerSchool account. All parents should be receiving an email today explaining how to access the online donation platforms!
