Welcome to the last two days of November. And on that note, Wednesday is the first day of December. To get into the Holiday Spirit we are inviting you to join your teachers, EAs, Secretary, Librarian, and maybe a custodian or two in Wearing your ugly Christmas Sweater, shirt or mask this Wednesday. My own Christmas Sweater is anything but ugly, and will prove this to you in a couple of days. I hope you’ll join us in spreading some holiday cheer.
Basketball - Woodhaven basketball tryouts continue after school today for the Senior boys and Junior A boys teams. 3:15-4:30pm. Our girls basketball tryouts for grade 6-9 start Wednesday after school.
School clothing sale - Don’t forget you can still purchase some woodhaven swag in the office…hoodies, crewnecks, and long sleeve Wolfpack gear is available. See Ms. G for more information.
Movember fact of the day: The World Beard and Moustache Championships have taken place annually since 1990. Anchorage, Alaska holds the record for sending the most number of entrants into this championship. Which staff member should Woodhaven enter this year?
Let’s get ready, Christmas is just a few weeks away. We are going to kick off the month of December, on Wednesday, with Holiday Cheer day. Wear your ugly Christmas sweater (Mr. McLauchlan has so many to choose from) and a holiday themed mask.
Each week leading up to Christmas we will have a theme day and an activity to participate in. You will be able to enter for a prizes for your participation. Stay tuned for more details!
