Good luck to our Junior Badminton team as they play their 2nd game of the season tonight vs Gramina. The game will be taking place after school in the small gym.

Spring League Basketball - Our spring league basketball skills camp continues today after school…it is the girls turn today 3:15-4:45pm. The boys had a great session yesterday.

We will be having an in person book fair next week!! You will have the opportunity to shop during your library block as well as during parent teacher interviews. Come by and see all the new books that are out…plus all those pencils, erasers and fidgets…you know the stuff that drives your teachers crazy!!! If you would like to volunteer for the fair please come see Mrs. Pirie in the library.

If you were on the Marmot trip yesterday, don’t forget to see Mrs. Schaber during morning break or down in the grade 8/9 section during the first half of lunch for your reschedule permission form.  They are due back TOMORROW by NOON.

We are looking for members of the WolfPack family to help out with our first ever concession at this weekend’s badminton Tournament.   This is a chance for you to support the parents’ association which has done so much to support us at the school.   There are two shifts this Friday and two shifts Saturday Morning and Afternoon.   If you are interested in helping out please see Mr. Shaw or Mr. McLachlan

On April 6, 2018, Canadians were heartbroken to hear the news of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash. Of the 29 passengers, sixteen lost their lives and thirteen will all bear physical and emotional scars for life.

On April 7, 2018, Humboldt Broncos defenceman Logan Boulet succumbed to his injuries. His parents, Bernadine and Toby Boulet offered to donate his organs so that six lives could live on. They did so because Logan told his parents he was registering as an organ donor and that he was inspired by his coach and mentor Ric Suggitt. Ric passed on June 27th, 2017 and was also an organ donor and saved 6 lives.  Tomorrow is Green Shirt Day - the day we all wear green to promote organ donation.   Please wear green tomorrow as we come together to remember, honor and inspire hope for those requiring an organ donation; both now, and in the future.
