Junior Badminton tryouts continue today after school in the large gym. 

Sun Run training today after school!  Meet in the 7-9 common area at 3:30.

A BONUS day of Chess club is happening today in the library at lunch!

Would all of those students who auditioned for the talent show, please meet Mrs Denet in the Foods Lab today at the beginning of lunch (11:55)?

TOday is CHILI lunch! Any students with money, please come down to the office right after announcements to pay for your chili lunch. 

Next Wednesday at lunch, our Sun Run Team will be hosting a Popcorn Fundraiser. Popcorn bags will be sold for $1.50. The money raised will help support the team’s trip to the Sun Run Race in Vancouver.

Next Tuesday is World Down Syndrome Day. Rock your crazy socks to show your support! 

Why socks? They remind us of the shape of chromosomes! 

Why mismatched or odd socks? Down Syndrome is made up of an odd number of chromosomes

Why fun/funky socks? Because we are celebrating that being different is beautiful and a little ‘extra’ special!

Today is the last day of Wolfpack week! During today during Block 7 we will all come together to watch the staff-student basketball game, we will add the scores of our last three competitions to the Den totals AND then we will name the term 2 winners of the Den trophy! At the end of Wednesday’s assembly  Kitchi was in 3rd place with 525 points, Denali is in 2nd with 600 points AND Nashoba is in 1st place with 675 points!
