Congratulations to our senior volleyball teams for a great showing this past weekend at the Greystone tournament. Both the boys and girls played fantastic! Up next for the Senior teams is the league seeding games which are happening tonight! The senior girls play 2 games at Broxton Park and the senior boys play 2 games here at Woodhaven in the small gym after school. 

The junior A volleyball teams….boys and girls, both have a volleyball practice today after school in the large gym 3:15-4:30pm. 

Cross country runners: next practice is Wednesday morning at 7:30.  Next race is this Thursday at Jubilee Park.  If you haven’t received your shirt yet, see Mr. Bock at recess.  Also, if you wish to wear a school singlet at races and haven’t got one yet, see Mr. Bock.

Intramurals start today during lunch recess…we will be playing volleyball this week. Today is a grade 7 day, Here are the scheduled days for intramurals:

Monday- Grade 7

Tuesday- Grades 8 & 9

Wednesday- Grade 5

Thursday- Grade 6

T-Shirt Sale!!! That’s right, a T-Shirt Sale!!! We will be having a $2 t-shirt sale tomorrow night at the Meet the Staff BBQ! There are limited sizes and quantities but this is a great chance to pick up some Wolfpack Swag!!! We also have a very limited number of hoodies for $20. 

Our school Terry Fox Run is happening on Tuesday, September 26th. The goal of the event is to raise awareness and some funds for cancer research. All students are highly encouraged to bring in a “Toonie for Terry” ...or you can also donate online. There are donation options on your PowerSchool account.
