We are continuing to celebrate Pink Shirt Day, please remember to wear your Pink Shirt tomorrow. "Did you know that small acts of kindness can make a big difference? Today, let's focus on inclusion—sit with someone new at lunch, invite someone to join your game, or simply ask, ‘How’s your day going?’"

One researcher named Dan Siegel said “Name it to tame it” - so the next time you are feeling a strong emotion, name it out loud and you might be surprised how your response to that feeling changes.
Today is the official Pink Shirt Day! Wear pink to stand against bullying and promote kindness. If you see someone being treated unfairly, be an upstander-speak up, include them, and show support. Teachers continue filling out your Random Acts of Kindness cards and students will be coming around to collect those all week. Remember “Never look down on anyone, unless you are helping them up.”

Did you know that developing a strong staircase between your upstairs and downstairs brain doesn’t happen automatically? Just because you get older doesn’t mean you will suddenly become really good at managing your emotions - it takes practice! The more you practise calming strategies when you feel good, the more effective those strategies will be when you have flipped your lid.
