Congratulations to our junior A basketball teams for a great weekend of basketball in the Prescott tournament. The jr boys finished 11th out of 16 teams. The Jr A girls won the tournament!
Basketball practices after school today include Senior Boys and Senior girls teams 3:15-4:30pm.
Social Dance - We are starting the social dance unit today in all PE classes! We are so excited!
Woodhaven Performing Arts is excited to announce an exciting opportunity for our students in grades 7-9! We will be taking a group of students, to see Broadway Across Canada’s production of “Anastasia!” at the Northern Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, on Thursday, Feb 23! This trip is open to all students in grade 7-9, not just the “play kids.” THe cost is $40 and includes your show ticket and bus transportation from Woodhaven to the theatre! Tickets are on sale now and they are ALMOST sold out. If you are interested in coming, get those payments in ASAP.
More news from the performing arts: this Wednesday at lunch is the first meeting of our Drama Council! That’s right! Grade 7-9 students are invited to attend Drama Council on Wednesdays at lunch in the Drama Room. Come and chat, hang out and of course play some drama games! See Mrs Refugia with any questions!
