Monday, May 16

With peace, harmony and unity, we honour the land on which we stand as Treaty 6 territory. This is sacred land to many First Nation, Métis and Inuit, and in particular our neighbours, Paul First Nation, Enoch Cree Nation, Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation, Alexander Cree Nation and our friends of the Métis Nation. We recognize and acknowledge Indigenous values, traditional teachings, ways of being, contributions and historical inequalities. We respect all cultures with an open heart and an open mind. We ALL heal together.

Staff are reminded that they are NOT to print to workroom two today due to the Provincial Achievement exams.

And speaking of provincial achievement exams, the northwest corner of the school, including the Jr. high common area is closed off to students.  Students are directed to be mindful of the noise as the grade nines write their Language Arts Part A exams this morning.  The grade sixes will write on Wednesday.

Friday was a great day for our grade 7-8-9 track meet. What a fun and exciting day! We had so many students do their best. So many students competed hard. The top 4 students from each event now move on to the East Zone track meet on Thursday at Spruce Comp. Please check the event results posted in the large gym to see if you qualified.
