The Woodhaven Middle School Parents Association (WMSPA) is pleased to announce the launch of its logo design contest. Our association would like to have interested Woodhaven students participate in the creation of a unique logo that would go on our Facebook page and other social media platforms and communications. The contest will run from Wednesday, March 16th to Monday, April 4th and a winner will be chosen from all the submitted entries by the Executive of the Parents Association. The winner, who will be announced on April 8th, will have their choice of a $50 prepaid gift card.

A couple of changes you will have noticed since the break.   We have new bike racks at the front of the school.  These bike racks have been placed in a way in which they are visible to the school cameras to ensure the safety of your personal property.  Please respect the property of others.  

As well, you will have noticed that we have had our television monitors installed throughout the school.  Soon these will be broadcasting announcements, information on events and even videos about our fine school.   You will also notice that these TV monitors have also been placed in front of the school’s security cameras.  Students are reminded to respect the TVs and keep your hands off of them. Students are responsible for any damages they inflict on the school property.    

Marmot Trip Students - If you have signed up for the Marmot trip that is happening on Tuesday, you have a MANDATORY pre-trip meeting TOMORROW at 2nd lunch in Mrs. Schaber’s room, room 143. If you are unable to make it you MUST see Mrs. Schaber before tomorrow.   

Congratulations to our senior badminton team for a great performance last night in their game vs Greystone. Job well done to start off the season. Senior team is reminded they have practice after school today.
