Good luck to our senior volleyball teams in their second week of league games. Today after school the senior boys will be hosting Broxton Park in the large gym. The senior girls travel to play a league game at Prescott tonight as well. Good luck Wolfpack!

On Friday, Oct. 6th and Saturday, Oct. 7th this week Spruce Grove Composite High School is hosting their Dave Pysk Memorial High School Senior volleyball tournament in Spruce Grove. Games will be played in both our Large and Small gyms here at Woodhaven. All students are highly encouraged to come out to watch this high level of volleyball. The tournament is even kicked off with a special exhibition game on Thursday, Oct. 5th at Spruce Comp with the University of Alberta Golden Bears playing NAIT’s men's team. You should really check that out! For more information talk to Mr. McLachlan, Mr. Chan, or Mr. Peet.

Our Woodhaven Cross County Race is on Thursday, Oct. 5th. Any Woodhaven student is allowed to participate for free, even if you’re not registered on the Cross Country team.  So, come and see if you can earn some points for our school with a top 10 finish, or just come and run for the fun of it! Any students willing to be ‘bike rabbits’ in our race should talk to Mr. McLachlan, Mr. Bock, or Mr. Rink about getting involved that way.
