Woodhaven is excited to, once again, offer Grade 7-9 students the opportunity to attend the Vancouver Sun Run in April.  Join many other PSD students and 40,000 runners from around the world in this famous 10 km run.  Make new friends and enjoy a long weekend in Vancouver.  See your homeroom teachers for the information and permission forms.

Good luck to our senior volleyball teams as they host Prescott tonight in league play. Both the senior boys and senior girls play in the large gym right after school. If anyone is interested in helping scorekeep please talk to Mr. McLachlan.

This Thursday, Sept 29 is Orange Shirt Day. Since it began in 2013, the phrase “Every Child Matters” has been used as part of the movement to recognize the value of every child and for communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for future generations.

Orange Shirt Day honours the experiences of Indigenous Peoples, celebrates resilience and affirms a commitment from all Canadians that every child matters.
