As we wind down construction, please note that for the next three days our construction partners will be landscaping the north west corner of the back field along the alley.   It is very important that we give workers their space.  Just a reminder that this space has been off limits for the past two-and a-half years.  Soon we will have a second space in the back field to play.  But for the next few days, please stick close to the track field.

Another reminder that starting next week we will alter our morning, recess and lunch entry procedures.   On Monday, grade fives and sixes will now enter through the modular doors by the baseball diamond.   Please note the classroom assembly locations on the chain link fence.

For the grade sevens, eight and nines, you will be assembling on the cement pad in front of the school.  Again, please note the signs.

A reminder to all X-country runners that there is a practice tomorrow morning at 7:45.

Good luck to our senior volleyball teams as they play home games today after school. The senior girls play High Park. Senior boys play Broxton Park.

Junior A girls and the Jr. A boys are reminded they have practice after school today 3:15-4:30pm.

Terry Fox run - Our school Terry Fox run is getting closer and closer….it’s Friday! Please remember to bring in a “Toonie for Terry” or make an online donation to help support this amazing event. You can drop off your “Toonie for Terry” in the office with Ms. Golinowski.

A reminder that tomorrow the Woodhaven school community will be sharing and wearing our support for indigenous peoples across Canada as we recognize orange shirt day.  Please show your support by wearing orange tomorrow.  Also note that in honour of Truth and Reconciliation day, there will be no school this Thursday, we will see you Friday for the Terry Fox Run.

Thursday Sept. 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.   Today we would ask that you take a second to consider:  If averaged out between Residental Schools, there were approximately 4079 students, only about half survived their time there.
