Happy Earth Day!  Here at Woodhaven we will be celebrating Earth Week this week. All week long you are able to bring in dead AA or AAA batteries so they can be recycled instead of in landfills.  Every class at some point will help rid our school grounds of litter throughout the week and on Wednesday everyone is encouraged to pack lunches/snacks with minimal waste. 

Congratulations to our Junior badminton team for successfully hosting the Woodhaven badminton challenge last Thursday/Friday. Our juniors had a great showing finishing 2nd overall in team aggregate scoring! Well done Wolfpack!

There is no Senior badminton practices this week as the gym is being used by another group. We play on Wednesday against Greystone. There will be a short meeting at 12:10 in Mr. Huedepohl’s Grade 7 homeroom on Tuesday to organize.

Spring League basketball today after school in the large gym is the girls league! Make sure you get to the gym right away after school grade 5 & 6’s so we can set up and start playing. 

Due to the activities in the school over the next three days we will not be playing music at recess’s Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. You will be allowed your 3 min to check your phones.

Boys Gr. 7-9 Soccer try-out after school tomorrow from 3:15- 4:20 outside on the back field. 

Girls Gr. 6-9 Soccer Try-out after school on Wed April 24 from 3:15- 4:20 outside on the back field.
